(5) When do I purchase this
coverage?
Typically when you book your travel you'll be asked if you
want this coverage. Once your trip starts, it's too
late!
(6) How much does this insurance
cost?
Each plan is different and sometimes confusing. Typically,
there's a flat rate for certain types of coverage, such
as lost luggage, accidental death and trip cancellation.
(7) Our recommendation is to read the plans offered when you book a trip. If the weather in your area or your destination can affect travel then we highly recommend purchasing this insurance. While warm weather cancellations are less likely, they can occur. If you miss a connection on the airline, or to a cruise ship you'll wish you had this insurance.
(8) Warning. Read the policies carefully. There could be a deductible or some exclusion that could make this insurance less valuable. Bring a copy of the insurance document with you and keep it with you, not inside your suitcase.
